Boots vs Blacktrack: How Do Expert Sensitive Cleansing Wipes Fare Against Long-Wear Eye Makeup? - Makeup and Beauty Blog
I endeavor to wait until I end a pack of cleansing wipes earlier looking for a new i to try, only I've been wearing a lot of long-wearing eye makeup lately (MAC Blacktrack!!), and the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Towelettes I've been using only haven't been up to the chore.
Perusing the beauty aisles at Target the other day I noticed Boots Expert Sensitive Cleansing & Toning Wipes ($iv.50) 1) because I like the font on the package (LOL!), and 2) because they're fabricated for sensitive skin (mine's been extra sensitive lately).
Similar most dazzler cleansing towelettes, they're supposed to cleanse the pare and remove makeup without the need for water. Across that, these are also supposed to gently tone and, thanks to a non-greasy blend of aloe vera and mineral water, calm and soothe fussy peel (they're gratis of soaps and fragrances likewise) without leaving a funky film.
My skin's pretty sensitive, but so far and then good. They feel soft and haven't caused any breakouts yet, nor exercise they cause my skin to tighten up.
At present for the big question: how exercise they handle long-wearing heart makeup?
With aplomb! Expert Sensitive removes every terminal bit of gel liner and waterproof mascara without breaking a sweat. And foundation, powder and blush? — Everything, POOF!
I also take to give the people behind the packaging props for making a sticker closure that actually works. I've tried craptacular ones before; they open only a fissure and the towels dry = big PIA, merely Boots did a good chore here. The closure stays closed and keeps the wipes damp and fresh.
What a great deal for $v (for 30 towels; i gets the chore done). They're inexpensive enough to even justify getting an extra pack for my nightstand … for when I'chiliad as well tired/lazy to wash off my makeup earlier bed. 🙂 Makeup and Beauty Blog Rating: A
